C-ONE TV streams a little bit of data as a buffer each time you start a movie or TV show. Frequently starting and stopping movies and TV shows will result in a minor increase to the amount of data C-ONE TV streams to you per hour; in most cases, this will be less than a few minutes worth of data.
C-ONE TV is a service that streams movies and TV episodes via the Internet; because these shows are not being downloaded you must remain connected to the Internet throughout streaming to watch continuously streamed content. Once disconnected from the Internet the streaming stops and will resume again once the Internet is reconnected.

Q: HOW DO I SET PARENTAL CONTROLS FOR MY C-ONE TV ACCOUNT?
A: You can set parental control levels on C-ONE TV content from the My Account page under Manage Profiles. Parental control settings must be changed from a computer, and will be applied to all devices currently attached to your C-ONE TV account.
C-ONE TV parental controls consist of 4 maturity levels:
• Young Children - Suitable content for all ages.
• Older Children - Suitable content for older children ages 8-12.
• Teens - Suitable content for teens.
• Adults - Mature content.
You can set parental controls on individual profiles by clicking edit for the profile and then changing the parental control setting from the drop down menu. If you want to make a profile child-friendly by default, click the checkbox "This is a profile for children under 12" in the Manage Profiles section of your account. Profiles that are configured for children under 12 are not able to connect to Facebook.
To watch a movie or TV show that has a maturity level higher than the parental controls you have set on your profile, you will need to adjust the controls on that profile to include that maturity level.

Alternate audio changes the language of the content you stream or changes your audio to 5.1 surround sound. These options are listed along with the subtitles and captions during playback or on the movie or TV show details page.
Adjusting Subtitles and Captions
Subtitles and captions are displayed in the lower part of the screen mirroring character dialogue or sound. To save or adjust your subtitles and captions settings, play a TV show or movie for at least 5 minutes with your preferences set. Not a fan of how the subtitles and captions look? We’ve made it possible for you to customize the appearance of C-ONE TV subtitles and captions which will change the look of subtitles and captions on many C-ONE TV ready devices.
